Coilovers
Coilovers are a great option to upgrade your vehicle's current suspension. The majority of coilover applications have two primary components - a damper with a coil spring encircling it. The coilovers we carry are fully adjustable to properly set up your ride height without affecting bump travel. Check out our huge selection of BC Racing, Truhart, D2 Racing coilovers below. Be sure to use the model selector to find the correct application for your vehicle!

Why Buy Coilovers from Bag Riders?
As with everything Bag Riders chooses to offer to our customers, we won’t list a set of coilovers that we wouldn’t feel good about installing on our own cars. We choose from reputable coilover brands with a proven track record. Coilovers from BC Racing, D2 Racing, Truhart, Fortune Auto (and others) are not new to the aftermarket suspension industry and these manufacturers know that warranty and reputation matter to our customers. Don’t come to us for the cheapest selection, come to us for a trusted selection.

What is Included with my coilovers?
Each set of coilovers will include four corner suspension (dampers, and springs) and depending on the brand, camber plates. The most typical style of coilovers that Bag Riders offers now use a fully threaded body at each corner, where the coil spring pre-load is adjusted at the bottom of the coil spring, and the height of your vehicle is set by adjusting the component that connects to your spindle or lower control arm (known as the lower mount). In addition to the coilovers themselves, the package will also include spanner wrenches matched to the style of lock collars that your new suspension utilizes, and damping adjustment knobs.

Are Coilovers Hard to Install?
Coilover suspensions can be difficult to install for amateur mechanics and DIYers, though not impossible. Bag Riders always recommends going to an experienced professional for all coilover installs to ensure your car is safe and roadworthy. Your suspension is a critical part of your car, and a compromised installation of your coilovers will lead to greatly diminished part lifespan or outright failure.

What are BC Extreme Low Coilovers?
BC Racing offers their Extreme low line for those who prioritize lowering over functionality. If getting low is the whole reason why you’re making a coilover purchase, the Extreme Low line will get you an additional 1”-2” of drop compared to standard BR Type suspension. BC Racing accomplishes this by spec’ing a shorter damper and a shorter spring.
